them strong statement pieces commanding center stage. These very

Mosaics Collection
Introduced in 2008, the Mosaics limited-edition
figurine collection is the beautiful offspring of black fishnet
created in 1858, butterscotch in 1994, and chocolate in 2003.
The striking combination, which is presented on 19 of Herend’s favorite figurines, requires the
artist’s skillful hand in painting and his or her intense
concentration to ensure colors alternate properly. The artist
must take care to scatter the colors proportionately while remembering
that the number and direction of the scale is constantly changing.
With this degree of scrutiny and deliberation, each Mosaic figurine
takes up to 40% longer to paint than a typical fishnet version
requires.

Key Lime Collection
Reminiscent of sunny Key West, Herend’s key lime color made
its debut this year on 18 of Herend’s most popular figurines.
This exciting, lively and refreshing new fishnet color is the
first to be introduced into the U.S. core assortment since chocolate
debuted in 2003.

Chinese Zodiac
Herend welcomes the Chinese New Year
with the introduction of its annual Chinese Zodiac figurine.
The Chinese lunar calendar consists of twelve years with a different
animal representing each year, and 2010 is the “Year of the Tiger.” Herend’s
Tiger is hand painted in the orange chrysanthemum pattern with
24K gold highlights on his paws and nose. Individuals born during
the year of the tiger are sensitive, deep thinkers and capable
of great sympathy.
